5 Disney World Attractions & Shows You Must See

Walt Disney WorldThere are so many things to do in Disney world, sometimes is not impossible to do all of them very short break. If you Planning to go to Walt Disney World….. Well plan ahead and prepare your time to maximize. These are the must-see Disneyland shows and the must-see rides for each park, although Opinions will vary.

There’s something for everyone, regardless of age, here is a list of five things you absolutely in no way should miss.

The Enchanted Tiki Room: This one is the one of the hidden secret with a giant wooden pyramid-type building overlooking the Jungle Cruise in Adventure Land. The Tiki Room is now a “must see” at Disney World. And the new Tiki Room is under “new management”.

Filled the same ole’ “older generation” Tiki Bird songs of the past, mixed with grooving’ pop songs of today. The show starts with the original Tiki Birds and the lighting up of the ceiling. I must warn parents of small children. It’s a loud show. They simulate lightning, loud thunder and a rainstorm during the show.

The Star Tour: One highlight is The Star Tours, the tour based on the Star Wars films.  The newly Star Tours reopens this month with new sets, vehicles and characters. The new Star Tours experience is in the works, promising new worlds, multiple scenarios, and stunning 3-D visuals.  And in a new twist, guests may be able to enjoy the attraction multiple times without ever experiencing the same adventure. More than 50 story combinations are possible for guests to experience aboard Star Tours. Make sure the force is with you, because evil Darth Vader will try to sabotage your trip!!!

The Maelstrom: Maelstrom is "a High Seas Norwegian Adventure". And not many people know about this ride. The Norwegian pavilion is an exciting boat ride that takes riders through various scenes around Norwegian lore. Watch out the trolls!!! This ride is the fastest ride in the World Showcase. You board a "Viking" ship and travel through the fjords of the old country and the North Sea of today.  And see some of the mythology of trolls and Vikings. Once you finish the ride you exit onto the dock of a Norwegian fishing village. You then have to go through into a theater where a movie about Norway is shown. In fact you can't actually leave the ride until the doors are opened to let the preceding out from the movie. Once the doors open you can walk through the theater and skip the movie. And some interesting tidbits, you’ll find a hidden Mickey in a helmet of one of the paintings of a Viking.

Fantasmic: This is Show of life time, it isn’t a ride. Fantasmic is based on Mickey Mouse's imagination, and the fight of good against evil. This show of lights, water, and firework displays only takes place two to three nights per week, so be sure to check the schedule, so that you will not miss your chance to see the show. If you want to get a seat, you must arrive at the amphitheater at least an hour early. The seat filled very quickly but the good news is that every seat in the amphitheater is a good seat.

There will be appearances from many of their favorite Disney characters. The star of the show is Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer’s Apprentice. The guest will be witness to his dreams, which appear onscreen. All of the stories are told through the use of lasers, lights, water and amazing pyrotechnics.

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
: One of the “must see “show.  The volunteers are invited to join the talented stunt men and women to re-enact exciting scenes from Raiders of the Lost Ark. There are fights, fires and chases, and if you sit near the front you’ll even feel the heat of the flames. The Cairo marketplace stage setting includes some great acrobatics. This show appeals to a wide range of people, so it's a great one to take the whole family too.
