- Bride and Groom: We know that wedding dress and suit are classical costumes but what about twisting them? Wouldn’t you be attracted by a man wearing a wedding dress and a woman in a suit or tuxedo? If you are brave enough, go for this enjoyable switch. You don’t have to buy new suit and wedding dress, just go to a charity shop and find these costumes in a cheap way. And if you want to go further, the wedding dress can be a bright red or pink one. And after a little make up, the man bride will be ready. The woman groom can use a fake mustache or a beard. - Deceased Husband and Widowed Wife: This is another option which is easy to achieve. Because you do not need any extra clothes. For the man, he can wear a classic suit, -maybe a dark one is better- and paint his face into white with the help of a white face paint which makes him seem like death. We dressed as the flintstones this past halloween and dressed the grandkids as members of the royal water buffalo lodge. We did the costumes ourselves and made three golf carts kind of resemble the flintstones cars.We didn't think we had a chance of winning anything in the parade we just did it for family fun.There were a lot of floats and people dressed in store bought costumes like the wizard of oz and transformers and they really looked good.To our surprise though we ended up winning first place cause the judges said we made our costumes and we was original. Also it was the 25th or 30th anniversary of the flintstones that we didn't even realize so pretty cool huh
