Congratulates Spain: The winner of the World Cup 2010

Spain: The winner of the World Cup 2010Spain won the World Cup after Iniesta smashes the ball into the net after receiving a wonderful pass from Fabregas. The match finished as Spain 1, Dutch 0.

The performances of both teams were good. The winner team Spain took its final gamble and it worked, which was really a fascinating one.

The goal keeper of Dutch, Maarten Stekelenburg increased his performance more than we expected. He had one of his better games last night. But his performance couldn't stop Spain from becoming the winner of the Fifa World Cup for 2010.

Maarten Stekelenburg was one of the good players of the game who will be spoken with his successful saves. Stekelenburg worked a lot to keep his team in the battle of the World Cup. His exceptional saves showed us how much he desired to have the cup. The save he made with his foot to deny Fabregas was one of them. It was an intense opportunity for Spain.

Van Bronckhorst and Van Der Wiel, who are the Dutch side backs, were the good players of the game. Although they have powerful offensive, which provide assistance to the offense, yesterday, they also performed their defensive jobs quite effectively. Mathijsen and Heitinga studied hard to stop Spanish forwards not to breath near the penalty area.

Mark van Bommel and Nigel de Jong, who are the Dutch defensive midfielders, performed as much as we expected. They really had high energy offensive: They rushed into tackles and were effective to a good extent. Wesley Sneijder produced splitting pass that Robben should have finished. Robben was the of the player who created good positions, but he hadn't last shot which could make them champions. Although he had effective positions, he failed to provide the cutting edge that he constantly produces.

Let's have look at the team Spain. Of course, the number one of Spain Iker Casillas had good saves as Maarten Stekelenburg. I think it wouldn't be orong if I would say that he had one of the best games of his life. Iker Caillas had spectacular saves whenever we had expected him to do. He denied Robben in two one on one positions.

There is nothing to say about Puyol and Pique's performances. They really had tremendous games. They hardly let any Dutch attack get past them.

As usual, Spain had a genius in the middle of the game. Xavi worked much harder than we normally expect from him. He was highly effective with his play.

Capdevilla and Ramos, who are the side backs of Spain, had quite good games. They forced Dutch to stay in their own area with their constant forward runs and support to the forwards.

Villa and Pedro, the Spanish forwards, were given mo breathing space. Through the good defending by the Dutch, the forwards couldn't pass the bay.

The man of the game: Iniesta was the only player whose goal brought the Cup to Spain. His effective shoots confused the defense, the fact that his performance make him the man of the game.
